Ali Roberts - Principal

Ali Roberts has worked in the film and television industry since she was a child. She has extensive experience in front of and behind camera, working as an actor, agent, casting assistant and acting coach. Ali studied acting in Perth and at the Actors Centre in London. She has contributed to numerous high-end productions as an Actress, Acting/Dialogue Coach and Casting Consultant. Ali has an MA in Communications Studies.

Acacia Daken - Voice and Accent & Stage and Screen Teacher

Acacia began Speech and Drama at the age of six and after shifting her career path from dance to acting she joined the Ali Roberts Studio in 2009. Her training in stage, screen, voice and presenting has been developed through a variety of courses; these include the Mike Leigh Process & Character Based Improv and NIDA and WAAPA short courses. In 2012 she went to LA where she worked with directors, trained in the Ivanna Chubbock technique and continued her accent work. As well as an acting and accent tutor Acacia is also the ballet teacher at PC Dance. She is currently studying Drama Education at ECU.

Cassie Thomson - Musical Theatre and Stage and Screen Teacher

Cassie possesses an array of experience in musical theatre having occupied local, national and internationally roles. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with honors in musical theatre obtained through the prestigious Lasalle Academy of Performing Arts in Singapore. In recent years, she has worked for Disney Hong Kong performing the role of Belle (Beauty and the Beast) in the Golden Mickey’s stage production. Having worked abroad for a for the past five years, Cassie has returned to Perth with the ambition to set down some roots and share her passion and love for the arts with those who are eager to learn. Accompanied by a desire to teach, she is also currently undertaking a postgraduate studies in teaching where she hopes to encourage her students to reach for their hopes and dreams. She is a well-rounded performer with key areas of expertise including singing, dancing (Jazz, Tap, Ballet), acting, gymnastics, and music (theory and practical). Cassie is personable, hard working and dedicated to teaching the arts.
